Even a small donation helps in a big way

Each donation, big or small, adds up. Your contribution helps each dog continue on their long journey of rediscovering health and love.

When we meet each dog, we hold them in our arms and promise them that they will never experience the pain and suffering that they have gone through. We promise them they will find their forever family that will show them the love and care they deserve.

These donations give us the means to fulfill our promises.

Here's how we use donations

We discover our dogs at the premature tail-end of their life. They're wounded, traumatized, and neglected in high-kill shelters. The public can't adopt injured dogs — it's a rescue's job to find and adopt them. These tiny lives cannot speak for themselves; they're made to use the bathroom and eat on the concrete they sleep on until it's their time to be killed.

We can't allow that. So through our network, we ensure these dogs are put in our custody before they are killed. Your backing changes their future and gives them a life they would never have had.

We pay for their urgent medical care, temporary housing, and transport to Seattle to make this happen. Once here, we cover all vetting, surgery, and fostering costs so they can find the family that will give them the love and support they deserve.

Getting them Here and Healthy with Vet Care

Transportation and vetting are some of the most expensive costs that are incurred in pet rescues. When we save dogs from high-kill shelters in California, we have to board and transport them to Washington — netting a high cost. Vetting services have increased by 40% in the last two years, even with an animal rescue discount. For many of these neglected dogs, this is the first time they've ever been to a vet in their life. As a result, each dog that comes into our rescue needs to have significant vet care done. Each semi-healthy dog can cost $800+ to vet.

Medical baths are a great way to prevent and treat skin conditions, allergies, and other health problems. They are also a great way to relax and de-stress our rescue dogs.
Dewclaw Removal

By removing the dewclaws, we are able to provide a better quality of life for our dogs. This simple procedure can make a big difference in the lives of our dogs and we are grateful for any support that can help us provide this service.
Blood Work
approx $50
We always require a blood test for all of our adoptable dogs. This is because we want to make sure that they are healthy and free of any diseases before they go to their forever home. We want to do everything we can to set them up for success in their new life.
Boarding & Transportation
approx $800
We transport rescue dogs from over-populated areas in California to here in Seattle, WA because we believe that every dog deserves a chance at a happy life.

When we rescue a dog, we want to make sure that they are healthy and safe. One way to do this is to microchip them. This way, if they ever get lost, we can easily find them and get them back to their forever home.
Deworming

Deworming is an important part of keeping our rescue dogs healthy, as it helps to prevent and treat infections from harmful parasites. By ensuring that our rescue dogs are regularly dewormed, we are giving them the best chance at a happy and healthy life.
Vaccines
