Saving lives is truly a team effort

From remotely finding these dogs in California to bringing them to fosters in Washington, it truly takes a village to heal the bodies and hearts of our dogs. We pay for all the food, medical bills, and fostering costs involved; the best way to contribute to us is by sponsoring our non-profit with a tax-deductible donation.

Where it all starts

These red-listed dogs are given 12 hours to live - at no fault of their own. We find the forgotten, the neglected, the damaged and maimed. These dogs are given a second chance at life - and we do everything in our power to help them recover and heal. We give them the love and care they deserve, and we fight for them every single day.
We Find Them in California
The high-kill shelters in California are some of the worst in the country. They are overcrowded and often have to euthanize dogs that are perfectly healthy and adoptable. This is a tragedy for the dogs and for the families that would have loved them.
We Get Them Healthy
We need to make sure that all of our dogs are healthy and safe enough to make the trip to Washington to find their forever home. We don't want them getting injured or injuring other dogs on their way here. This process can include medical spas, flea treatment and more.
We Transport Them to Seattle
We take the dogs through boarding process. This interstate travel is one of the most expensive parts of our process. We are always looking for donations to help offset the cost of this travel, as it is essential to getting the dogs to their forever homes.
They Arrive to Their New Life
When a dog arrives at our rescue, it is always a special day. We celebrate the "first day of their new life" and tell them how much they are loved. We believe that every dog deserves a second chance, and we are so grateful to be able to provide that for them.

They rehabilitate at foster homes in Seattle

When a dog arrives at our rescue, they have often been through a lot. They may have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. They may be scared, confused, and unsure of what to expect. But when they are placed in a loving foster home, they begin to heal.

In a foster home, they are surrounded by other dogs who have also been through tough times. They learn that they can trust again, that they are safe, and that they are loved. They learn to play and to be happy again.

And when they are finally ready to be adopted into their forever home, they are the happiest, most well-adjusted dogs you will ever meet. Because they have been loved, and they know what it feels like to be part of a family.

Our Values

Each Life is Precious
And that includes the lives of rescue dogs. By giving them a second chance, we're not only helping them recover and heal, but we're also giving them the chance to experience the joys of life that they may have missed out on before.

For many rescue dogs, just knowing that someone cares about them and is willing to give them a chance is enough to help them start to heal. And as they start to heal, they begin to open up and enjoy all the wonderful things that life has to offer.
Each Dog Needs To Feel Love
When a dog is rescued, they have often been through a lot of trauma. They may have been neglected, abused, or abandoned. We believe that every dog deserves to feel loved. We work hard to provide a safe and loving environment for all of our dogs.

We believe that this love plays a powerful role in helping them heal and recover from their past. It is what gives them the strength to trust again and to start new lives.
Give Loving Attention
When a dog is rescued, they are often coming from a place of neglect or abuse. They may be scared, confused, and feeling insecure. By showing them love and attention, we help them to feel safe and loved. This allows them to heal emotionally and to trust people again.

By spending time with each of them individually, they learn to trust (which is actually really big for them).
Community of Fosters
The community of fosters at our rescue is truly amazing. They provide a loving home for our dogs while they heal and recover from their past. They help them learn to trust again and to feel loved. We are so grateful for their selfless dedication to our dogs.
They Can Live Their Best Life
When a dog is rescued, they are given a second chance at life. This means that they can finally live their best life, free from abuse, neglect, and hunger. They are given the chance to be loved and to love in return. This value helps rescue dogs recover and heal, and it is something that we are very passionate about.
Positive Reinforcement Training Only!
Positive reinforcement training is the only way to help rescue dogs recover and heal. By using positive reinforcement, we can help them feel safe and secure while they learn to trust us. This type of training builds their confidence and doesn't trigger any traumas by inflicting cruel training methods.

Happy healthy dogs. Living a life they never would have had without you.

In the years that we've been doing dog rescue, we've worked with countless amazing people and poured our hearts and souls into the dogs … all to the recovery of these wonderful dogs that were considered worthless
